Helping clients from start ups to the large enterprise tackle tough issues for over 25 years, Jim Warren has been a management consultant including Partner / Managing Director responsibilities at two Big 5 firms. He is a Certified Management Consultant. In varied industries, Jim has developed innovative operational and financial solutions to maximize efficiency and develop effectiveness across the globe.
Jim
can quickly see the possibilities in a new idea, and uses his keen
analytical engineering training to determine a concept’s feasibility.
With his open and “bring down the barriers” management
style, he challenges diverse teams and groups in the free-form discussion
and technical input critical to making an idea a reality. Using
his business skills, he assists the team in creating the road map,
and in developing the measurement systems to ensure that the goal
is achieved. He is focused on success, but also recognizes the importance
of integrating the values of the team with the goals of the organization.
Jim earned a BSE (cum laude) in Industrial and Operations Engineering
and a BA (with distinction) in Music Literature and Organ Performance
from the University of Michigan. He then earned his MBA in Finance
and Information Systems from the University of Michigan Business
School. He has volunteered his time to professional societies,
arts
organizations, business agencies, and civic projects. He is a professional
concert organist, and has produced and recorded 2 solo organ compact
discs at Salisbury and Coventry Cathedrals in England. His recent organ recitals have included: Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris (2003), Church of the Madeleine, Paris (2004), St Paul's Cathedral, London (2005), la Madeleine, Paris (scheduled for Sept, 2006) and Grace Cathedral, San Francisco (scheduled for March, 2007).
