IMC of Northern California selects Jim Warren to give speech on “Ethical Consulting”

October 21, 2002 – The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) has selected James D. Warren Jr CMC to present a speech on “Ethical Consulting” on December 13 in Sacramento, California. Jim’s speech entitled “Ethical Consulting in Today’s Tangled Times” is a response to a recent Fast Company interview led with the provocative question, "Are All Consultants Corrupt?" Jim Warren believes not and he has an unequaled viewpoint from which to survey the consulting profession.

A Certified Management Consultant for 16 years, Jim spent four years as a partner and practice director at Arthur Andersen before leaving in 1998. In total he has served four national firms, beginning as a senior consultant with Price Waterhouse in 1979, from which he was recruited to start the San Francisco consulting practice for BDO Seidman. Most recently, after leaving Andersen, Jim was a partner and practice leader with Deloitte & Touche. Last year, he founded JD Warren Associates LLC, a boutique consultancy providing ethical and independent management consulting services in the Information Technology arena. Jim brings a passion for "doing the right thing" and a singularly experienced perspective on the consulting profession and our times.
